Gerald Zoo Gagne Wednesday January 19th 2022

GAGNÉ, Gerald “ZOO”
1947 – 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Gagné (Zoo) on Wednesday, January 19 2022, in Cornwall at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of Denise (née Beauchemin) Gagné. Loving father of Sylvie Gagné-Kielec (Greg). Cherished grandfather of Tatyana, and Marie-Soleil Kielec. Dear brother of Simone Primeau (Gerry), Aline DeSerres (George), Roger (Liette), and Maurice (Judy). Predeceased by his parents Henri Sr. and Ida (née Beaudin) Gagné and two siblings Irene Marsolais (late Jack) and Henri Jr. Dear brother-in-law to Yves Beauchemin (Janice), late Real (Fleulette), Ginette Lebrun ( late Jean-Claude), Rejeanne Blanchard (Richard) and Nicole Ladouceur (Alex). Will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews and all that knew him.
Everyone knew Gerald as Zoo. He enjoyed meeting up with friends over some Tim-Hortons coffee. He was always there to give a hand to anyone in need, willing to even give the shirt off his back. He held strong through his battle with cancer, never once complaining about his pain and suffering. He passed in the comfort of his beloved home, with his family by his side. Everyone who knew him will miss his gentle soul and warm smile.
As per Zoo’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Cornwall Hospice will be accepted and appreciated by the family. Cremation has occurred, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
