Obituary
Gerald Wesley McInnes 83, or Nanoose BC Passed away gently Jan 07, 2022. Born and raised in Trail BC Gerald is survived by his wife Rose of 60 years together. His son Guy W. McInnes (Dorothy), a daughter Lisa Verstraten and daughter Tammy Lee Rogers of Courtenay BC. Also Douglas McInnes of trail BC, his youngest brother. Predeceased by 6 brothers and 1 sister.
Gerry enjoyed and loved all his four grandchildren, Ryan, Audra, Lora-Mae and Carter. Thirteen great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild – this sunshine of his happy days.
There will be no service as he requested, he always said “no fan fair for me, “I’ll do it my way” and he did.
We’d like to give our thanks to NRGH for the compassionate care he was given, many many thanks to Dr.’s Booth, Dr. Ronald and Dr. Daniel Downe, Gerry’s surgeon. I can’t thank enough for his work and thoughtful understanding given to us at a time we needed you.
Cremation – to follow at a later date there will be a small family gathering at his family home in Trail BC sometime during summer if 2022 due to all the restrictions of Covid 19.
We all love you dearly Gerry, you’ll never be forgotten
