Wednesday, August
3rd, 2022, at the Chaleur Regional Hospital,
Bathurst, at the age of 80, passed away Mr. Gerald T. Maltais of
Balmoral, husband of Mrs. Lise (born Raymond) Maltais. He
was the son of the late Maria (born Audet) and the late Theodule
Maltais.
Besides his wife Lise, he will be
sadly missed by his children: Tommy (Marieve Beaupre Kwan) of
Longueuil, QC, Annie of Sherbrooke, QC and Cathrine of Bathurst; his
grandchildren : Nicolas, Sarah, Juliette and Gabrielle; his
sisters: Emilienne of Moncton, Marina (Roger Levesque) of Balmoral,
Marie-Anne (Rene Thibeault) of Balmoral, Fernande (Ronald Savoie) of
Dundee and Carmelle (Victor Francoeur) of Maltais; his brothers:
Paul-Emile (Yvette) of Maltais, Jim (Marielle) of Belledune, Raymond
(Joanne) of Balmoral, Normand (Rachelle) of Moncton and Norbert
(Nicole) of Quebec ; his sister-in-law Claudette Maltais of
Eel River Crossing also by many nieces, nephews, members of the
Raymond family and friends.
He was predeceased by her his parents, Mrs. Maria and Mr.
Theodule Maltais, and his brother Belonie.
Funeral mass will be held in the St. Benoit Church, Balmoral,
on Tuesday, August 9th, 2022, at
4:00pm. Mr. Gerald T. Maltais will rest at Savoir Parlor,
situated at 10 D’Eglise St., Eel River Crossing, on Tuesday,
August 9th, 2022, from 2:00pm till time of
funeral.
