It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald Morton Tait at the Saint John Regional Hospital on July 9, 2022. Gerald is survived by his wife Elizabeth McLennan; his children: Gerald Tait Jr. (Darlene), Paul Tait (Lise) and Susan Foldi (Stephen); his brother Glen Tait (Dawn); his sister-in-law Betty Joan Tait; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; as well as by several nieces and nephews and good friends. Besides his parents, Gerald was predeceased by his brothers: Harold Tait, Ronald Tait, and William Tait. Gerald worked years at Ben’s Clothing before he started working at Irving Paper in 1971, and retired in 2000. He was a big fan of the Toronto Blue Jays & the Boston Celtics and travelled to Boston more than once to watch the Celtics or the Bruins play. He loved a good game of cards or playing darts.
