July 3, 1937 – October 18, 2022
Peacefully, at home in Toronto, on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in his eighty-sixth year. Beloved and devoted husband of Ann Cohen for sixty-five years. Loving father and father-in-law of Barry Gross, Harold Gross and Sharon Erlichman. Treasured grandfather of Sylvia. Son of the late Harry Gross and the late Tillie Fainmel. Brother-in-law and brother of Sherna and the late Nathan Gross, Naomi and the late Bernard Gross. Jerry will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Jerry was a Director with Milgram & Company Ltd., Customs Brokers from 1954 to 1996, where he was both Treasurer and an Information Technology pioneer in the industry, and a treasurer with the Québec Association for Children with Learning Disabilities in the early 70’s. He was also instrumental in the growth and development of Centennial Academy, where he was Treasurer for many years. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Sunday, October 23 at 12:00 noon. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 ch. de la Forêt.
