Gerald DeLeavey
1941-2022
At the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville, NB, Gerald
Jerry DeLeavey passed away peacefully with
family at his
side on January 3, 2022. Born at Anfield, NB in 1941, he was
a son of the late Peter and Alice (Cormier) DeLeavey.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years,
Geraldine (Bedford) DeLeavey, and daughters Deborah DeLeavey
(Steve), Pamela Fullerton (Bruce) &
Bonnie DeLeavey, grandchildren Amanda Johansen
(Adam), Nathalie Jahr (Kurt), Chelsea Fullerton (Vinny), Cory
Fullerton (Andrea) and Samantha Murchison (Jonathan),
great-grandchildren, or as he would say, “the little
ones”, Brooklyn, Gavin, Jack,
Benjamin, Rhett,
Clyde, and a little lady on the way.
He is also survived by brother, William (Margaret) DeLeavey
and sister, Marion (Wayne) Bedford, several nieces and nephews, and
special family friend, Robert Lapointe.
He was predeceased by his precious son Martin
(Bucky) DeLeavey, his brother Clarence (Babe) DeLeavey, along
with many cousins, loved ones and friends.
Gerald loved his family unconditionally and his
grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and
joy.
The family would like to say a special thank you
to all the caregivers that have been there for Gerald and
Geraldine during his recent illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
Hoonigan Brotherhood in Perth
Andover NB.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd.,
Grand Falls with visiting hours on Saturday, January 8th from 2 to 4
p.m
A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on
Saturday, January 8th at 4:30 p.m. Interment will be in the
Anfield Anglican Cemetery at a later date.
