Rev. Gerald Taylor
1939-2022
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Rev. Gerald David Taylor, peacefully passed away at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte NL, on Thursday December 22, 2022 at the age of 83.
Gerald was predeceased by his parents Ernest and Edith (Williams) Taylor, brother Carson Taylor and nephew Paul Taylor and brother-in-law Eric Anstey.
Left to morn his passing with fond memories are his brother Warrick Taylor (Jeanette), sister Daphne Anstey, nieces and nephews David Taylor (Marlene), Debbie Taylor-Suttie (Kevin), Keith Taylor (Catherine), Todd Anstey (Alana), Glen Taylor (Tina) and Karen Anstey (Jerry) and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Gerald was a faithful servant in Christ, he ministered in the Parish of St. Mary the Virgin and as a Chaplain for the CLB.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on January 5th, 2023 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held on January 6th 2023, 2:00pm at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, Craigmiller Avenue. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Forest Rd.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Mary the Virgin
