Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Georgina Iris Wareham (Walbourne) announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 14th, 2022 at the age of 77 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 58 years: Benjamin Wareham; Children: Darlene (George Scott), Diane Wareham (Todd Griffin), Denise Wareham (Rodney Reid), Debra Wareham (Kevin Lasaga), and Doreen Wareham; Seven Grandchildren: Matthew Wareham, Sarah Smith (Earl), Annabelle Wyatt, Jeffrey Wareham (Bailey), Daniel Scott, Abby Cannock and Jason Best; One great-grandchild: Eleanor Smith; her sister: Alma (Stan), her brothers: Frank (Debbie), and David (Laura).
Georgina was predeceased by her parents Frank & Florence Walbourne; her brothers: Lloyd, Gordon and Gerald; sisters: Evelyn, Bonnie and Madge.
A visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 16th, 2022 from the hours of 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled on Wednesday, August 17th, 2022 at the Westside Tabernacle, 37 Elizabeth Street, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeremy Simms officiating. Interment to take place following the service at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, there will be no flowers by request. You may make a donation in Georgina’s memory to a charity of one’s choice or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland & Labrador.
