Obituary of George Nott
Passed into the loving arms of his Saviour on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Irene (Rancourt) for 66 years. Cherished father of Mark (Syliva), Steven (Sue), Carol Willet (Victor) and Keith. Proud grandfather of Stephanie Nott (Erik Jean), Kevin, Chelsea (Jeffery Standfelt), Jessica (Kyle Agnew) and Joshua Willet (Sam Bell). Great grandfather of Kevin Jr. and Ryleigh Nott, Cole, Rowan and Hendrik Agnew, Jonah and Isabelle Jean. Son of the late Thomas Nott and the late Louella Donaldson (Wilfred). Brother of the late Melvin Nott (late Afreda), late Helen Beilhartz (Lorne) and the late Ken Nott (Pat Hilderley (Don)). Son-in-law of the late Emile Rancourt (Courona). Brother-in-law of Pauline Dallaire (late John) and predeceased by Jeanne Seguin (Henry), Florence Tauvette (Leo), Arthur Rancourt (Dorothy), Beatrice Christie-Mitchell (Jim)(Lance), Agnes Mitchell (Lance), Roger Rancourt (Rita) and Lilianne Tousignant (Nap III). George will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Sault Ste. Marie, SAH Cancer Care Fund, VanDaele Resident and Family Council or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
