George McVittie 1957 2022

Obituary of George McVittie
Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, with his family by his side, on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the age of 65. Beloved husband and friend of Toni-Marie. Cherished father of Alyssa. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Carmen (nee Reade) McVittie. Brother of James (Marianne) and Ron. He will be fondly remembered by his nephews, cousins, extended family, the Merini family and his best furry friend, Angel. George was a proud member of Toastmasters. He enjoyed his career in corrections but what George enjoyed most in life was spending time with his family.
Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the chapel at 12:00 noon with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to the SAH Renal Dialysis Care Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Sault Area Hospital ICU and Renal Unit for the care and compassion shown to George and his family.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of George
