In Loving Memory
Mr. George De Vos of Norwich passed away at the Woodstock Hospital on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of 64 years to Liz (Vankerrebroeck) De Vos. Loving father of Joanne Cattrysse (Late Art) (Don), Dwayne De Vos (Linda), Linda Bucholtz ( Bryan ) and Lisa Trewin (Tim). Cherished grandfather of Jaclyn (Sloan), Craig (Karly), Ryan (Diane), Adam (Chelsie), Tori (Tom), Tara (Kyle), Lexi (Todd), Matt (Erica), Nathan (Krystina) and Nicole (Brody). Treasured great grandfather to Cal, Artie, Emry, Mackenzie, Grace, Shae and Riley. Dearest brother of Agnes Monteyne (Leonard) and brother in law of Lillian De Vos and Diane Vankerrebroeck. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Frans & Maria (Spriet) De Vos, and by his sister, Cecilia Heyens (Wilfred), and by his three brothers: Joe, Roger, Gabe (Alyce), by his in-laws, Oscar & Mary Vankerrebroeck, by his sister in law, Luanne Hobbs and by his brother in law, George Vankerrebroeck. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Alan Dufraimont officiating. Interment in Our Lady of LaSalette R.C. Cemetery . In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Donations to the Charity of your choice will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
