Obituary of George Wayne Senior
It is with great sadness that we announce that George Wayne Senior passed away, with his family by his side, at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital on January 19th, 2022, at the age of 77 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy (Yuck), his children Kathy Cassanto (Mark), Paula Cudmore (Edgar), Amanda Darrell (Jonathan) and Avery Senior (Jenny), and his grandchildren Anne, John Paul, Eunice, Daniel, Maria, Joseph, Agnes, Romero, Charlotte, Gregory, Evelyn, Roland and Bridget. Wayne, as he was known to family and friends, was born on August 5th, 1944, to Joseph Mervyn Senior and Eunice Mary (Pink) Senior at the Grace Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario. He spent two years of his life in Aylmer, Quebec while his father served in the Royal Canadian Air Force. With his parents, he moved to Kinburn, Ontario where he spent the rest of his life. After graduating from Fitzroy Public School, Arnprior & District High School and the University of Guelph, he farmed for many years on the family farm. He was President of the Ontario Brown Swiss Association, President of the Carp Farmers’ Market and Elder and Clerk of Session at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Kinburn, Ontario. Wayne’s arrangements have been entrusted to the Boyce Funeral Home Ltd., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior. A private burial will be held by the family. Memorial Donations may be made in George Wayne Senior’s name to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Kinburn, ON K0A 2H0 and the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital, 350 John St N, Arnprior, ON K7S 2P6.
