Ruddy, George, 1945-2022
It is with sorrow that the family of Mr. George Ruddy announce his passing on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, in Espanola at the age of 77 years. George was born in Grattan, Ontario on November 9th, 1945. George is survived by his sisters, Catherine Tinneburg (Dolf) of Ottawa, Theresa Ruddy of Oshawa, Mary Clement of Sudbury, his brothers, Gerald Ruddy of Saul Ste. Marie, Andy Ruddy (Lyn) of Oakville. Predeceased by his brother Adrian Ruddy (Danielle) of Espanola. Proud uncle of Diana, Kimberly, Kevin, Marc, Ron, Don, Chris, Curtis, Melanie, Tina, Kelly, Dean, Heidi, Micheal, Angie, Tammy and Nicholas, and his many great nieces and nephews. George was a very proud chef who was passionate about his 32 years of service at the Pinewood Motor Inn, Espanola. He valued the friendship of all his co-workers throughout the years and was a dedicated friend to many. Thanks to his special friend Jude and the staff at the Espanola General Hospital.
