Passed away peacefully on Friday June 3, 2022 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 87th year. Survived by his wife Barbara, sons Peter (Anita), Brian (Alice), David (Nicole) and Mark Custers, daughters Marianne Busch (Brian), Laura (Nicolas) Misch, and his step son Keith (Angela) Chambers. George is survived by his brother Ben (Sharon) and his sister Helen Pieterson. George will be missed by 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. George was pre deceased by his sons Donald (Lori) and Albert (Elsie) Custers. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to PASSFIELD MORTUARY SERVICES INC. (905 682-0474). A graveside service will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, June 30th at 1:00p.m. A celebration of George’s life will take place following the interment at Bethany Community Church, 1388 Third Street Louth, St. Catharines at 2:00 p.m.
