George Frederick “Rick” Barton
1950-2022
Peacefully, on Friday,
December 2, 2022 at LHSC, Victoria Hospital, George “Rick”
Barton passed away at the age of 72.
Beloved husband of the
late Jennifer Mary Barton. Loving father of Angela Barton, Adam (the
late Jenn) Barton and Andrew Barton. Cherished grampa of Breeanna,
Devin, Ashley and Emma. Devoted great-grampa of Zayn. Dear brother of
Jane McKee, Raymond Barton (Jennifer) and Jacqueline Barton (Myrna).
Uncle Ricky will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends.
Rick will be
greatly missed by all those who knew him, especially his clients who
he cared deeply for. He was devoted to his career along with his
friends, family and most of all his two friends Bruce Steedman, Gary
Baltaire and their families.
Cremation has taken
place.
A private family
interment of ashes will take place at Dorchester Union
Cemetery.
A celebration of Rick’s
life will take place at the family residence at a later
date.
Those who wish may make
memorial donations to a charity of choice in memory of
Rick.
