WHITTLE, George Edward – At the Belleville General Hospital, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. George Whittle, of Kenron Estates, in his 87th year. Son of the late William and Jean Whittle (nee Bond). Beloved husband of the late Nancy Whittle (nee Pope). Loving father of Sheldon Whittle (Carolyn) of Martensville, Saskatchewan, Stephen Whittle (Julie) of Deep River, Wayne Whittle (Carrie) of Belleville, Linda Wiggins (Pat) of Ottawa, and Darryl Whittle of Peterborough. Dear brother of Mary Dejardin (late Russell) of Alberta. Loved by his seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one great-great grandchild. Resting at the Rushnell Funeral Centre, 60 Division Street, Trenton. Officers and Members of Royal Canadian Legion – Branch #110 Trenton, are requested to assemble at the Funeral Home, for a Service of Remembrance, on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1:15 p.m. A Celebration of Life will follow in the Chapel, at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Lynn Mitchell officiating.
