George Andrew Horrell 2022

Obituary
George Andrew Horrell
Passed away surrounded by family at Muskoka Landing in Huntsville on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, he was in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of the late Jackie Trudel-Horrell. Cherished father of Christopher, Ashley, Ryan and step-son Derek Davis. Proud grandfather of Hailey, Emma, Lucas, Jake, Hendrix, Harley, Hayden and Hadley. Sadly missed by his siblings Kenneth, David, Patricia (James) and Sharon (Ken). He is pre-deceased by his parents Kenneth W. & Joan (nee Dee) Horrell.
George was a very hard worker from his grocery store employments, owning his own landscaping and snow removal business and being a fishing guide on Pigeon Lake. He sometimes worked 3 jobs at a time to support his family. In 2004 George took a Heavy Equipment Training Course in Bracebridge. He excelled at this course, especially using the bulldozer and worked for awhile for the district of Muskoka.
George’s biggest delight in life was his family and fishing! His absolute favourite fish was the Muskie. George loved the chase as well as the catching, having several trophy fish mounted which he displayed proudly.
In 2008 George met the love of his life Jackie Trudel. They had 12 beautiful years together but sadly he lost her in December 2019. Heartbroken, his life was never the same. He will be missed by all. We will love you forever George.
Family will receive friends at the Pioneer Memorial United Church ON-60 Lake of Bays, ON on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Cremation will take place after the service.
