Matriarch of the Price Family and last surviving member of her generation on our family tree, Gayle was the adored wife of Leonard (2017) and dear mother of Beth (Garry) Warren, Bob (Rhonda) Price, and Mary (Mark) Lesperance. She was the much-loved Gram to Justin (Kelly), Katy (Dave), Trevor (Sonya), Dan, Mike, Emily (Steve), Nick (Megan), Kathleen (Sim), and Austen. Most recently, she was delighted to become the precious Great-Gram to Colton, Addelyn, Theodore, Ashton, Winnifred, Carson and was eagerly awaiting her seventh great-grandchild due in January.
Gayle was predeceased by her parents Geneva and Raymond Hamlin, siblings Raymond (Eva) Hamlin, Pauline (Raymond) Laframboise, Virginia (Renault) Thibault, Milton (Barbara) Hamlin, and in-laws Cyril (Florence) Price, James (Mary) Price, Rosemary (Donald) Varley, and Marjorie (Albert) Buzak.
Known affectionally as Gram to most, Gayle touched the lives of countless nieces, nephews, honorary grandchildren, neighbours, and friends. Gayle was empowered by love and humble by nature, which made anyone fortunate to cross her path feel like they truly mattered.
We wish to thank our newest family members from both Bayshore Support Services and Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle Retirement Community, staff and residents alike, who warmly welcomed Gayle and supported her all too brief transition to her final home. In memory of Gram, please spread kindness, reach out to those in need, and smile at both neighbours and strangers. Find the best in those around you and take time to learn their stories.
Cremation to take place. A memorial visitation celebrating Gayle’s life will be held on Saturday August 20, 2022 at 12:00pm until time of service at 1:00pm at Families First 3260 Dougall Ave., South Windsor, 519-969-5841.
