Il laisse dans le deuil, outre son épouse Claudia Massey Gatien; sa fille Natalie Gatien (Sébastien Benoit); sa petite-fille Anne-Marie Benoit; ainsi que ses neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et ami(e)s.
