Obituary
Gary Sinclair of Foremost, beloved husband of Heather Sinclair, passed away at the Bow Island Hospital, on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the age of 65 years.
Gary was born in Lethbridge on December 31, 1956, son to Agnes Sinclair and the late Ray Sinclair; brother to Ken (Val) Sinclair and Joe (Michelle) Sinclair; father to Candice (Kelly) Sinclair and Kirk Sinclair and uncle to many nieces and nephews.
An industrious man Gary apprenticed at the age of 20 and received a Master of Electrical in 1989. Gary founded Foremost Electric in 1988 and continued until 2021. He enjoyed playing in the local men’s Basketball league where he earned his iconic moniker “Wiley”. Gary’s favorite past times included golfing on sunny days, hunting with his longtime friend Steve and sitting on a beach with a tequila in one hand and his wife of (damn near) 40 years in the other. Gary was the singing Electrician who took pride in his work for his community.
Gary is predeceased by his father Ray Sinclair, mother-in-law Maxine Wheeler and father in law George Wheeler.
In keeping with his wishes, a celebration of Gary’s life will take place at a later date.
Flowers are gratefully declined. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the “Village of Foremost” (Box 159, Foremost, AB, T0K 0X0) with a note stating it’s for the “Foremost Emergency Services”.
