It is with broken hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of a loving husband, father & grandfather, Gary Jacob White, of Pilley’s Island, NL, aged 73 years, on January 27, 2022. Surrounded by family at his residence in Pilley’s Island, NL., Gary changed residence to his Heavenly Home.
Gary is predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Julia White; Brothers Kevin White, Walter White; Brothers-in-law Leonard Lush, Michael Whalen, Cyril Tizzard; Nephew Gregory Hart
Left to mourn his passing, with fond and loving memories, are his wife Tassie; sons David (Tina) White, Danny (Marina) White, Dwayne (Candice) White; Daughters Stephanie (Jeffrey) Rice, Della White; His cat Tabby; Grandchildren Kendra (Brady) Winsor, Kenzie White, Brittany (Kyle ) Rice, Deidre Rice, Emily (Taylor) White, Amber White, Jacob White, Dembyr White; Great-grand children Hayden Heath, Isabella Gray; Brothers Aurlle (Betty) White, Francis (Sylvia) White, George (Emily) White; Sisters Valerie (Michelle) Roberts, Christine Lush; and a large circle of family and friends.
The Private Family Salvation Army Funeral Service, with Lt. Col Sandra Rice officiating, will take place from The Pilley’s Island Community Centre on Monday, January 31, 2022 at 2:00PM. If any family members plan to attend they must register by calling Stephanie at 709-293-1514.
The interment will follow from the Salvation Army Cemetery, Pilley’s Island, NL.
In keeping with Covid-19 Government regulations those attending the church for the funeral service are to present your NLVaxPass ID along with photo ID.
