1939-2022
Garnet Arnold Steeves, 82 of Salisbury passed away
Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Arnold
and Cora (Montgomery) Steeves. Garnet was retired from his Montybrook
Dairy Farm in Second North River. He was a member of the Second North
River Baptist Church and he loved watching his Toronto Blue Jays,
Toronto Maple Leafs, Moncton Wildcats and enjoyed his bowling league.
Garnet also enjoyed gardening and family gatherings.
He is survived and sadly missed by his beloved
wife of 55 years Donna (Gogan); children Heather Snyder (Rick),
Riverview, Kevin (Suzanne), Salisbury and Brent (Audra), Second North
River; close nephew Lance Gogan (Vanessa) and their children Oliver
and Taylor, Havelock; sister Annie Gogan, Salisbury and several nieces
and nephews. Sincere thanks to Tracey and Doreen, Dad’s Special Angels
for their wonderful care.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, March 6 from 2 to 4 pm and from
where the funeral will be held Monday, March 7 at 11 am. Due to
Covid-19 restrictions, masks are mandatory. Interment at Fair Haven
Memorial Gardens.
If desired, memorial donations to the Second North
River Baptist Church would be appreciated by the
family.
