Obituary of Gaetano Calarco
CALARCO, Gaetano “Guy”
Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on June 13, 2022 at Hospice Residential surrounded by his family at the age of 67. Loving son of the late Concetta and Antonio Calarco. Dear brother to Maria (Gerry) Labelle, Gioia (Dragomir S.) Jovanovic, and Vince. Special uncle to Margaret (Cameron) Karpenko, Steven (Anna) Labelle, Jenny (Justin) Bogucci, and James (Jennifer Damm) Jovanovic. Great-uncle to Tyler, Sarah and Lucas Karpenko, Ava and Logan Labelle, and Lincoln Bogucci. He will be missed by Aunt Anna, cousins and friends. Following a career at Ford Motor Company, Guy became an accomplished photographer and world traveler visiting over 100 countries. The family wishes to thank the staff and volunteers at Hospice of Windsor for the care and compassion shown to Guy during his time there.
Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234 on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.
Visiting continues Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. then to Our Lady of Guadalupe (834 Raymo Rd.) for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
