Obituary of Freeman Wallace Piercey
Peacefully at home, with family by his side, Freeman Wallace “Wally” Piercey passed away on August 25th, 2022; at the age of 71. Born in Cape Breton, N.S. on September 6th, 1950 to parents Freeman and Lillian Piercey. Beloved husband of Linda Piercey for 53 wonderful years. Proud and devoted father of Brenda (Paul) Plommer, Kimberly Piercey, Wallace Jr. Piercey and Brandi (Brian) Dwornik. Cherished grandfather of Jory, Chelsea and Riley Plommer; Gage DeVries and Haidin Farrell; Rachelle (Colin) Procunier and Bryce Shepley; Nick, Mikayla and Kian Dwornik. Survived by his siblings Terrence (Janice) Piercey, Linda (Clayton) Carter and Tanya (Steve) Day. Wally is also survived by his brother-in-law Bill (Sheena) Chevers. Wally will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
