1933-2022
The death of Frederick Wilson Mclean of Gordonsville occurred on
Friday, November 25, 2022 at the River View Manor in Bath. Frederick
was born April 1, 1933 in Ripples and was the son of the late Albert
and Gertrude McLean. He was also predeceased by one daughter, Susan
Gods; a son-in-law, Danny Prosser; two sisters. Doris McLean, Leona
McLean; and a brother, Charles “Bud” McLean.
Frederick is survived by his wife, Marie McLean; daughter, Diana
Prosser; son, Stefan McLean (Lori); grandchildren, Kristen Reid,
Justin Reid, Gwendolyn Reid, Thomas McLean (Dominique
Waite-Coté), Michael McLean (Rebecca); great grandchildren,
Alexis McLean, Gabriella McLean, Michael McLean, Skyler McLean;
brother-in-law, Kenneth Jones (Cecilia); sister-in-law, Carolyn
DeMerchant (Warren).
Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207
Burnham Road, Florenceville Bristol on Monday, November 28, 2022 from
6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. from
the L.R Giberson Funeral Chapel with Doug Lockhart officiating. The
interment will be in the Fielding Cemetery. Donations to the Fielding
Cemetery or the River Valley Cancer Support Group would be
