Purdy, Freddie Walter – 80, Oxford, died February 27, 2022. Born in Springhill, he was a son of the late Russell and Elaine (Harrison) Purdy. He is survived by his daughter, Kelley Macdonald; sons, Kevin (Margaret Pomeroy), Kirk; grandchildren, Jeff, Sara, Austin, Jaymie, Brodie; brother, Curtis (Janet); sister, June MacCallum. He was predeceased by brother, Russell; sisters, Arvella, Sharyn, Betty-Ann, Wilma. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, with funeral service at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 3, both in MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford.
