Died surrounded with family at Charlotte Englehart Hospital, Petrolia, Ontario on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at the age of 84.
Beloved wife of 63 years to Lyle.
Loving mother of Heather and Scott Helps, Paul and Carla Bolton and Karen and Jeff Simpson.
Cherished grandma of Cassie (Stephen Szmiett),
Chris Helps (Abby),
Sarah Helps (Christian Cousins),
Steve Helps,
Julie Bolton (Connor Mathers),
Jenna Bolton,
Cody Simpson (Kylie),
Riley Simpson,
Whitney Simpson (Derek Laurikainen),
and Bailey Simpson.
Proud great grandma of Elliott, Everett, Maverick, Huntleigh,
Isaiah and Isabella.
Forever remembered by sister Gail Robinson and sister in law Janet Fuji & husband Sam.
Freda sang in the choir and played the bells at Christ’s Church, she will also be remembered as the “Canteen Cutie” at the arena. Family was very important to Freda, her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the lights in her life, she loved to bake for them and was excellent at it. She was a talented crafter, loving a large variety of crafts, paper tole and ceramics were favorite’s.
There will be a private family memorial service, donations in her memory to Christ’s Church would gratefully be appreciated.
