The passing of Fred Lee Fairweather of Chipman, NB occurred at the Hospice House in Fredericton on April 10, 2022 at the age of 85. Born in Chipman, NB on January 7, 1937 son of the late Hilyard and Mada (Kilfillen) Fairweather.
Fred is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ida (Bishop); his three children, Dwayne, Darlene Egers (Paul) and Deanna Jenkins (Tim); 7 grandchildren, Kyle Jenkins (Valerie), Amanda Egers (Jacob), Tiffany Fairweather, Chelsey Jenkins, Braden Fairweather, Alex Egers and Tyler Jenkins; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia Jenkins; sisters; Hazel, Alice, Amy, Laura, Carol and Lorraine; brothers-in-law, Hugh John ( Linda) Bishop and Garnet (Nancy) Bishop; sister-in-law, Dayna (Gomer) Fearn; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Frank, Lawrence, Hall, Charlie, and Walter; two sisters, Ida Leckey and Ada Lewis.
As per Fred’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. The family would appreciate donations to Hospice House in Fredericton or a charity of the donor’s choice.
