Fred’s Obituary
Fred passed away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s on May 7th, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
Fred lived life to the fullest and enjoyed every minute of it. During the last few years, Fred looked forward to coming home in the summer, and having home cooked meals that he enjoyed when we were growing up. He also enjoyed reminiscing of the fun and laughs we had as kids at home.
He leaves to mourn children Frederick Doucette Jr., Johnathan Smith, J. Smith, Jason Doucette, and Kris Hernandez.
He also leaves to mourn brother Harold (Yvonne) and sister Ursula Moyles of Kippens, along with a number of nephews and nieces.
Fred was predeceased by his parents John T. and Dorothy Doucette also brothers Angus and Joe, sisters Edna Dollard and Nephews Danny Doucette and Brent Dollard.
Also a special thanks to a dear friend Morgan Snook.
Love you Fred, and one day i look forward to reminiscing and laughing at the old times again.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 7-9 p.m. at Russell’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at St. Stephen’s Parish on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, on the Hansen Highway.
