Fred Bachur: 28 October 1935 – 15 March 2022
Beloved husband of Donna for 59 years and loving father of Jennifer (Phil) Bester and Rolly (Catrina) Bachur. Proud Papa to Alisha Bester (Noah Morris), Madison (Mike) Jenken; Braedon, Brody and Meganne Bachur and Dominic Morris.
Survived by siblings Ada (Larry), Dot (Dean), Ron (Suzanne). Predeceased by: siblings Tom (Belle), Bill (Gerry) and Doreen; and parents Stefan and Dora Bachur and loving step parents John and Dorothy Orshinsky.
Proud to be from Western Hill area of St. Catharines where he enjoyed playing lacrosse from peewee to midget levels at Haig Bowl Arena. He was a General Motors employee for 30 years and happily worked with Glen Doig in construction.
After marrying he moved to Rockway and spent many enjoyable hours at the Rockway Community Church and Community Center. He loved getting together for any family function including the annual Bachur Bash.
Visitation on Saturday March 26th from 2-4 pm at Pelham Funeral Home, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill. Funeral Service on Sunday March 27th at 2:30 pm at Rockway Presbyterian Church, 2100 Pelham Road (Regional Road 69), Lincoln.
If desired, donations can be made to Rockway Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
