It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frank Robert Arbo (jr) formerly of Saint John. Frank was predeceased by his parents Frank Arbo and Doreen Chamberlain and two sisters Jean Carrier and Debbie Arbo. Frank passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, July 10 with his wife by his side at the age of 68.
He built his career with the city of Saint John for 35 years holding numerous positions including manager of fleet services, in retirement he enjoyed umpiring softball and worked for core commissioner. Frank loved his winters spent in Florida. Frank continued to cheer for the Toronto Maple Leafs till the end.
He leaves behind his wife, Barbara Hebert Arbo (Chatham), four children Jason Arbo, Laurie Hackett (Shawn), Jenny Dowling (Bill Goode), Jason Hebert (Sonya). Siblings Ronald Chamberlain (Veronica), Cathy Scott (Tim), Larry Arbo (Jackie) all of Saint John and Virginia Joudrey (Ed) of Nova Scotia. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren Ashlee, Emily, Brittany, Alex, Parker, Caitlyn, Alana, Teah, Owen & Gabrielle and three great granddaughters Gwen, Audrey, Blair.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation, Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, July 15th, 2022 at 11am. with Father Anthony Papu officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Donations to NB Extra Mural Hospital or ALS of NB and NS would be appreciated.
We would like to thank the EMP program, the ALS society and Integrity home health services for all of your help and care for the patient few months.

  1. I will always remember Frank and his stories and how he always would say how he loved Barb and her family. He said he was blessed. I am so sorry for your loss Barb. Treasure all the memories ! God Bless always!! Love Claire Fracker
