Frank Joseph Gaudet 2022

Frank Joseph Gaudet passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, in Maple Hill Manor, New Waterford.
Born February 16, 1938, in Sydney, he was the son of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Jennings) Gaudet.
Frank was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 138, Ashby. For over 25 years, he enjoyed travelling all over to attend hydroplane races.
Frank is survived by his wife, Connie (Hollingsworth); daughters, Karen Ann Gaudet, Sydney, Lynn (Brett) Cole, Toronto, Elaine (Moe) Gaudet, Dartmouth, Joanne Corbett, Sydney and Kim Bourgoin, Connecticut; son, Fred (Diane) Corbett, Dartmouth; sisters, Helen Willems, New Waterford and Frances (Harold) Hatcher, Porter’s Lake; sister-in-law, Louise Gaudet, Albert Bridge; grandchildren, Jessie Ray, Etta Jean, Leslee, Ashlee, Krystel, Tristin, Aden and Summer; and great-grandchildren, Kyler and Haven.
He was predeceased by his wife, Jean (Martin); his first born in infancy; sister, Eileen O’Brien; brother, Ernest; and brother-in-law, Martin Willems.
Thank you to the wonderful staff of Maple Hill Manor for the excellent care and compassion provided to Frank.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will be held at a later date in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Albert Bridge.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Society, Autism Nova Scotia, Alzheimer Association or charity of choice.
