It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother Francis John Penney on November 14, 2022 at the New Waterford Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in New Waterford on October 23rd, 1952, Francis was the son of the late Edward and Julia Penney.
In his early years, Francis attended Vocational School where he obtained his Auto Mechanic Certificate. Francis excelled at his trade and was well known for having the ability to repair anything from toasters to tractor trailers and anything in between.
Francis is survived by his brothers ; Eddie (Renee), Douglas and George (Pierrette). Sisters; Catherine, Audrey (Paul), Mary (Johnny), Bertha (Allan), Callista, Angela and Julia (Johnnie). Multiple nieces and nephews as well as multiple grand nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Francis was also predeceased by his brother Douglas (in infancy), his sister Dolores as well as his sister Jenny.
A very sincere thank you to the fantastic staff of the Medical Floor in New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
