Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Village of Wentworth Heights, on Monday, August 1, 2022, in his 95th year. Beloved husband of 71 years to Maria “Lil”. Much loved father of Rosina (Gary) MacDonald, Felice (Sharon), Louie (Edda) and Vince (Kathleen). Cherished Puppa of Rachael (Mike), Natalie (Aaron), Andrew (Mary Kate), Shauna (Ian), Frank (Alexandra),Laura (Justin), Erica, Alexandria (Daniel), Francis (Danielle) and Great grandfather of 7. Son of the late Felice and Rosina Martinello. Dear brother of Ann Dolson (late Dave), Margaret Scime (Joe) and Felice “Junior”. Predeceased by his sister Florence Guiliani (late Danny), brothers, Ralph (late Rosalie, late Lena), Marty (late Mary) and brother in law Alfonso “Fof” Alfano (late Margaret). Also lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families. A gentle man, Frank retired at a young age. He enjoyed car shows, cooking with his friends, his family and fishing trips.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Village of Wentworth Heights for their extraordinary care. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday August 6, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 63 Highway 20 East, Stoney Creek on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00 am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
If desired, memorial contributions to The Good Shepherd Centres or The Salvation Army would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
