It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Francis Ferrie of Garnish announces his passing at the age of 61.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his 5 sisters, Helen, Yvonne (Marcel), Josie, Carolyn (Tony), Collette (Tim) and Tanya (Dan); 7 brothers, Aubrey, Aloysius (Elaine), Sonny (Beth), Howard (Winnie), Chris (Donna), Andy, Jerome (Heather) and foster daughter, Candace; plus a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Francis was predeceased by his parents, John and Anna May Ferrie; and sister, Cindy.
Some of Frank’s happiest memories were of growing up in the small community of Lord’s Cove and hanging out with his closest brother and best friend, Andy. He also loved the north and worked for many years in Inuvik as a linesman with the power company. Frank made an impression on all that knew him and will be forever missed by everyone.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Frank’s life and send off will be held at a later date.

In Francis’s memory donations may be made to A Charity of One’s Choice.
