Frances Elizabeth Petersen 1959 2022

We are extremely sad to announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend Frances “Fran” Petersen (Daly) on October 15, 2022. Fran was a resident of Whitecourt, Alberta she was born in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan on July 26, 1959.
Daughter of the late Bernard and Susan Daly, predeceased by her brothers James and Charles, son Teddy and second mom Vivian. Fran is survived by her children, Terri and Derek, three grandchildren Tyson, Taylor and James, sister Joyce (Cliff) Lastiwka and brother Russel (April) Daly. She also leaves behind very special friends Laurie, Leona and special son Ryan, numerous nieces, nephews and her fury companion Captain.
Fran was very proud of her children and grandchildren, each one of them meant the world to her. She loved to dance, she loved watching the Blue Jays, that was her team for many years. Her fantastic sense of humour will be missed and cherished. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m.. at the Whitecourt United Church with Reverend Kimberly Roy officiating. Internment to follow at the Whitecourt Cemetery.
A very special thank you goes out to Laurie for all the help and support you have given all of us now and through the many, many years. You will forever be in our hearts. Thank you to the Whitecourt Hospital staff, a personal thank you to Kim and Aimee, neighbours and friends. Words cannot express how grateful we are for the kind words and thoughts during this difficult time.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Frances
