Richardson, Frances
With heavy hearts the Richardson family announces, the peaceful passing of Frances Richardson at Maple Manor in Tillsonburg on Saturday, May 7 2022, in her 87th year.
Frances was predeceased by her loving husband Lee, and leaves her children: Rick (Jill), C.D. (Julie), Bill (Kimberley) and Connie (Patrick).
Cherished by her Grandchildren; Mandy (Alex), Andy (Liz), (Bryan (Lindsay), Teresa (Dave), Darcie (Ahmed), Ryan (Tanya), Matt (Katelyn), Carissa and 16 great grandchildren. She will be missed by many sisters, brothers nieces and nephews.
Frances grew up in a farm family of 12 brothers & sisters in Burgessville and went on to create her own beautiful family in Otterville.
She was always the mama bear helping her children and their friends. We were the house where everyone was welcome, everyone was loved and anyone could stay.
She loved nothing better than a loud happy home. As her children grew, it was replaced with adored grand children and great grand children, pumpkin carving at Halloween, trips to see the Blue Jays, and big family gatherings of all occasions.
Frances had many passions gardening, painting, puzzles, and her amazing love of quilting. Even up to the last 6 months she was sewing and creating her quilts. She was very artistic and we are grateful for the many treasured items she has left with us.
Family and friends will be received at the ARN-LOCKIE FUNERAL HOME, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Thursday, May 12 2022 from 10-10:45 AM.
