Obituary
Wayne was born September 14, 1960, in Peace River AB, to Art and Ethel Bramming. Wayne was the 4th of 6 children.
Wayne and Nancy married on March 1, 1980, in Hinton AB. They lived in Hinton AB for 15 years, then moved to Obed for 18 years and then Carrot Creek. Wayne moved back to Hinton for 3 years, where he then passed.
Throughout the years Wayne worked with his parents in their taxi business, Northland Maintenance as a construction worker, drove tow truck, drove for both Coke and Pepsi delivering pop, operated haul truck at the mine, worked for AB Highways/ Ledcor doing highway construction and operated a plow truck. Wayne then bought his own highway semi truck which he operated for 5 years. He worked at Home Hardware, then worked in the mechanical field for a couple of years doing both automotive and heavy duty.
Wayne had a love of tinkering with vehicles. He was very proud when he earned his certificate for small engine mechanics. His favourite place was puttering around in the shop with his music blaring just tinkering and organizing, fixing whatever he thought needed fixing or sprucing up.
Wayne also had a love for ockey, unting, camping and fishing.
Wayne passed at the age of 61 leaving behind his wife Nancy of 40 years, his three children, Neesje, Todd and Melissa (Matthew Johnston), as well as grandchildren Logan, Owen (Taylor) and great grandson Jaxson, Kailynn, Paiton, Taya, Aiden, Karsen & Reed.
Wayne is survived by his mother Ethel Bramming, siblings Art, Debbie, Betty (Vic), Rita (Bill) and Bonnie (Stephen),
nieces and nephews Karma, Jessica, Wendy, Sabrina, Karina, Katlyn, Robert, Nicole, Joseph, Clayton, Curtis, Amanda, Anita, Jody, Johannes and Garion, as well as numerous cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Wayne is predeceased by His father Arthur Bramming, father-in-law and mother-in-law Joe and Geertje Vanderveer, his grandparents Chuck and Dorothy Bright.
Celebration of life will be held at Carrot Creek Hall on August 16,2022 @ 1:00 pm.
Honorary pallbearers are all those in attendance.
