November 2, 1954 – December 8, 2022
Burgeo, NL
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Florence Dollimount announce her passing on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Western Long Term Care, Palliative Care Unit at the age of 68 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Deanna Dollimount (David Firth) and April Dollimount (Derek Olson); grandsons: Nicolas and Owen Firth; also leaving to mourn “Guys Girls” Jackie (Brad) Skinner, Tammy (Tim) White and Ginger (André) Lushman; grandson Andrew Lushman; brothers and sisters: Don Ingram (Linda Benoit), Alex Ingram (Valorie) , Mildred (Roy) Green and Pam Young (Tom Moret); sister in-law and brother-in-law Nola and Dave Dollimount; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband and soulmate Guy Dollimount, parents Hubert and Carrie Ingram and sweet angel Nicole Skinner.
Florence loved the outdoors, and spent many hours tending to her gardens. She was always proud of her tomatoes, flowers and especially her house plants. She was always very active, loved Grandy’s river and taking long walks at Sandbanks. She was always proud to show off her latest craft project or creations. Florence was a fantastic cook who loved to bake and cook for her family and friends.
We are happy that our mother and Guy are “Together Again.”
Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
