Florence M. Savoy
1944 – 2022
Florence Mary Savoy, wife of the late Alvin J. Savoy of Black River Bridge passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on January 15, 2022 at the age of 77.
Born in Hardwicke, on December 23, 1944, she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Jenkins) Chapman. She was a homemaker.
She was an amazing lady with an awesome sense of humor and will be missed by many.
Florence is survived by her two daughters: Brenda Savoy-Weiman (Richard) of Newmarket, ON and Brandi Savoy of Ontario; one son, Bradley Savoy of Black River Bridge; two grand-sons: Ari and Koen; two sisters: Audrey Hackett and Marva Gulliver; three brothers: Bob, Carmen and Willis Chapman. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Alvin J. Savoy, four sisters: Dorothy Hackett, Elsie McGraw, Hilda Gladys and Joyce Chapman and one brother, Alden Chapman.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service held. Interment will be held in Miramichi later in the spring.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Miramichi SPCA or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
