“Keep Us In Your Hearts, Pray, And We Will Always Be With You”
The Farrell Family is heartbroken, as Florence Mary Farrell joined her husband, Stan, on February 24th, 2022. Florence and Stan will continue their journey of faith – a journey they started together in Little Bay, Newfoundland, on October 31, 1945.
We, their 12 children, Ronald (Clara), Stan Jr. (Carol), Martha (David), Anita (Reginald), John (Brenda), Daphne (Philip), Neil, Hannah (Cliff), Terry, Kelvin (Kathy), Fabian (Dee), Florence (Kevin), and grandchildren, will miss them greatly. A testament to their lives well lived. We are blessed by their unshakable faith in God, unbounding love, kindness, generosity, humility, and respect – a true and lasting legacy.
Florence is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Stan Farrell, her parents William & Martha Farrell, brothers, Patrick, Ernest, Fergus, Randolph, Cyril, John and by sisters Eileen, Catherine, Alice and Clotilda. She will be missed by her friends and relatives in Little Bay, a place she loved dearly.
A special thanks to her wonderful caregivers who treated her with such compassion over the past few months, and the incredible medical staff at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre.
“……And at the going out of it, they pass in dignity and in simplicity. And they are mourned. Here there is a unity that has no name. And here there is a quiet at the close….” Farley Mowat.
