It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Florence Macphee, on May 28, 2022, at the age of 95.
Cherished mother of Jean, Richard, and Robert Leonard (Judy),
devoted grandmother of, Alex, Simon (Kana), Caley (Trever), Bridget, and Jimmy. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren, Cadence, Linden, Gunnar, and Riker, and many relatives and friends.
Florence was the eldest of five Macphee siblings, Mary, Thelma, Anita and Victor. She was born in Brookline, Massachusetts and was raised in Emerald, PEI. She then moved to Montreal, Quebec where she worked at Eaton’s department store, until her marriage. She cherished her years of working at Concordia University where her efficiency and warmth charmed students and staff.
She was selfless, she would do anything and everything for her sons. She is a shining example of a kind and generous soul, who took care of many. She will be missed, although now, she is in a better place, the angels will keep her company. We love our Mom.
