Obituary of Florence Irene Willick
Surrounded by love, Florence passed away at the Gilmore Lodge on March 12, 2022 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Anthony Willick. Florence is survived by her children, Stephen, Kathy (Doug), Rose Turner (Doug), John, Lorrie (Ken), David (Tammy) and her favorite little dog “Buddy”. Florence adored her grandchildren Adam & Melanie Turner (Brooks M), Jennifer Ley (Shaun), Sarah (Michael L), Michael and AJ and her eyes lit up when any of her great grandchildren Noah, Ava or Nolan were near. She is sadly missed by a large extended family. Predeceased by her daughter & son-in-law Teresa Swords (Scott). Florence loved her family, her dog Buddy, baking, gardening, music and spending time in the summer outdoors with family.
Benner Funeral Services, 1105 Benner Ave., Fort Erie is entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 16th from noon until the time of services in the chapel at 2 pm. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Snyder. A gathering to celebrate Florence’s life will take place at a location and date to be determined and announced. If so desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation, would be appreciated. We would like to thank the staff at Gilmore Lodge for their excellent care, compassion and thoughtfulness.
