Florence B. Elizabeth Stortz (nee Gregory).
Peacefully Wednesday 16, 2022 at Pioneer Manor, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Michael Stortz, predeceased 2002. Loving mother of Gregory (Wendy) Stortz and Susan (John) Tyndall. Cherished Nan of Alison, Kelly, Janet (Bryan), Wade (Jennifer), and nanny to great-grandchildren Gwendolyn, Keiralyn, and Tayalyn. Dear daughter of Fred and Florence (nee Hamlin) Gregory predeceased. Dear sister of Laura Bundey (John) both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
She was instrumental in starting Robinson Playground. She enjoyed gardening and sewing. Florence was the executive secretary fort he Sudbury R.D. and T.B. Association.
In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s Society of Canada would be appreciated.
At Florence’s request there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation to take place at Parklawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
