The family announces with great sorrow her passing on Saturday June 25, 2022 at the Timmins District Hospital at the age of 85 years.
She is predeceased by her husband Peter (2017). Cherished mother of Michael (Natalie), Englehart. Dear grandmother of Jasmine and Jareth (Chelsea), great grandmother of Jaxon, and beloved mother-in-law of Beverly.
Predeceased by her parents Walter and Lily Brauen, her sisters Miriam and Elizabeth and by her brothers Ernest, Daniel, and David.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital who made her final days comfortable. Also special thanks to the “Care Bears“ who came by every day to take care of her allowing her to remain in the home she loved. Last but certainly not least were the numerous friends and neighbors who were always looking out for her.
Respecting her wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will take place at St Matthew’s Cathedral on Thursday June 30, 2022, at 11am. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7-9 pm at LESSARD-STEPHENS FUNERAL HOME. Remembrance donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
