In loving memory of Fay Eliza Hanna Lazurko, 95 years, who passed away Wednesday March 9th, 2022 at the Elizabeth Centre. Beloved wife of Jerry Lazurko, predeceased 2020. Loving mother of David (Diane) of Val Caron, Shirley (Rob Stephenson) of Athens, Ontario, and Robert of Petawawa. Cherished grandmother of Dylan (Catherine), Jordan (Allison), Steven, Angele (Mathieu), Ariel, Rachel, and Becky, and great grandchild Alice Faye. Predeceased by her parents William and Violet (nee Mote) Muriel and siblings Jack, Dale, Sarah, Bertha, and Mary. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
Faye enjoyed knitting, quilting, and scratch tickets. Many have enjoyed her handmade baby quilts. She was always quick to help others as a dedicated volunteer for many local charitable campaigns. In younger days she had been an active parishioner at St. Andrew the Apostle Church where she belonged to the parish CWL and bowling league. The focus of her life was her loving family and she was happiest in their company. The family expressed their appreciation to the Homecare staff, Karen, the Galway Court neighbours, and the Compassionate staff at the Elizabeth Centre for their support and care.
