Faith Ouimette 2022

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Faith Ouimette, on March 13, 2022, at the age of 53. Faith passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Her Husband Shawn Ouimette, and her six children, Charlotte, Rachel, Kyle, Joshua, Faith-Aliesha, and Jolene were by her side. Her stepson Derrick and Brother Jim Downey with sister-in-law Carol Downey were also there to say goodbye.  
Faith was born and raised in Parry Sound, ON by parents Dora Catherine and late father Ronald Downey she was the youngest of 8 children. Her love for family and the way she made sure everyone felt loved, happy, healthy and safe was what made her so special. Her goal each day was to make someone smile. Faith had a heart of gold and was known for her kindness, generosity, passion, strength, and selflessness. She was an exceptional woman who was loved by all and adored by her husband, children, and grandchildren.  She modelled a life well lived and will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.    
Faith is survived by her husband, Shawn Ouimette, four Daughters Charlotte Pabst (Yves), Rachel Pabst (Jason), Faith -Aliesha Pabst, Jolene Pabst. Her two sons Kyle Pabst (Courtney) and Joshua Pabst (Cayla).  Four stepchildren, Kayla, Sean, Nancy & Derrick. As well as her 20 grandchildren. She will be immensely missed. 
As per Faith’s wishes no funeral service will be held. She wanted everyone to remember her by the memories created and the life that was loved by many. Donations (by cheque or online) are welcomed to the Leukemia & Lymphoma society of Canada or to the Northern Cancer Foundation.
