Peacefully, surrounded by his wife and children, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the age of seventy-three. Son of the late Julie (née Krief) (z”l) and the late Aaron Haddad (z”l). Doting husband of Élise (née Azoulay). Loving and proud father and father-in-law of Arielle and the late François (z”l), Talie and Fabian, Jessica and Thomas. Devoted ‘Papi’ of and loved by Elina, Noémie, Kaella, Liam, Aaron, Liev and Avalina. Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Annie and Peter, Chantal and José. Fabien was cherished by his nieces and nephews, cousins, and many friends. Sincerest gratitude to the dedicated staff of the Lakeshore General Hospital, especially the Hemodialysis Team, the team of 4 West and the ICU team – all of whom graciously supported and treated him. Fabien was truly an amazing soul. He was an astounding husband, a dedicated father, and a proud grandfather. Fabien lit up the room with his contagious smile. His charming personality, his sense of humour, and a caring nature immediately touched everyone’s heart. He brought joy to all who knew him. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva to be announced.

Fabien Haddad, âgé de soixante-treize ans, fils de feu Julie (née Krief) (z’’l) et feu Aaron Haddad (z’’l), époux adorant d’Élise (née Azoulay), père et beau-père fier et affectueux d’Arielle et feu François (z’’l), Talie et Fabian, Jessica et Thomas, ‘Papi’ dévoué et aimé par Elina, Noémie, Kaella, Liam, Aaron, Liev, et Avalina, frère et beau-frère bien-aimé d’Annie et Peter, Chantal et José. Fabien était chéri par ses neveux et nièces, ses cousins, et ses plusieurs amis. Les remerciements très sincères à l’équipe dédiée de l’Hôpital général du Lakeshore, tout spécialement les équipes de Hémodialyses, de 4 Ouest et de l’Unité de sois intensifs pour leur support et leurs soins. Fabien avait une âme incroyable, il était un mari étonnant, un père dédié et un fier grand-père. Son sourire contagieux illuminait la pièce. Son caractère charmant, son sens de l’humeur et sa nature bienveillante touchait le cœur et apportait de la joie à de tous ceux et celles qui le connaissait. Le service funéraire aura lieu le jeudi 16 juin à 14h chez Paperman & fils : 3888 rue Jean-Talon O. L’enterrement se tiendra dans le cimetière Kehal Israël situé au 4189, boul. des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux. Les détails de la shiva seront annoncés.
