Evelyn Thelma Pederson
January 22, 1928 – August 27, 2022
With great sadness the family of Evelyn Thelma Pederson (Skjonsberg) announces her passing on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She passed away peacefully at the age of 94.
Evelyn was born in Bentley to parents Gustav and Jennie Skjonsberg. She and her siblings were raised in Bentley. On November 11, 1949, she married Ervin Pederson and bought their acreage just outside of Bentley where they raised their 3 children Larry, Stan, and Denise. She continued to enjoy living on the acreage until her passing.
Evelyn loved to ride horses, play cards and dance. In later years, Evelyn enjoyed going to dances and dancing with her partner Lloyd Rowe for many years. She was a long-time member of the Sunset Hills Riding Club and Bentley Royal Purple.
Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her son, Stan (Nicole) Pederson; daughter Denise Pederson; grandchildren, Dana (Travis) Depalme, Darren Pederson, Daryl (Dani) Pederson, Wanda (Morgan) Greenwood and Austin Adams; her great-grandchildren, Reid, Parker, Brooke, Dakota, Hunter, Kira, Alex, Avere and Gage; great great-grandson, Walker Hanson. Evelyn was predeceased by Ervin and her son, Larry.
Evelyn was laid to rest in the Pederson family plot next to Ervin and Larry at Vig Cemetery on Saturday, September 24, 2022. She will be sadly missed by her family and community.
