Evelyn M. (Hatt) Foster passed away unexpectedly at St.
Charles Hospital in Bend, Oregon on Sunday May, 8, 2022. Born in St.
Stephen N.B. Daughter of Jean (Thomson) Hatt and the late Robert
Hatt.
The first one to step up when some one needed a boost or
start a fund raiser for someone who was ill, baby showers, wedding
celebrations, etc. Evelyn was a mother to all! Evelyn meant so much to
so many different people! Which was evident by the number of close
friends she gathered over the years. The first one to step up when
some one needed assistance! Her “Famous” cinnamon rolls will
be never forgotten. She loved spending time with family, grandchildren
and friends. She loved cooking, kayaking, camping, traveling and
spending time at the St. Croix River. Evelyn worked at the Charlotte
County Hospital for 46 years retiring in 2021.
Evelyn is survived by her children Michael (Angie) Foster,
Neguac, NB, Ashley Foster, St Stephen, NB. Chosen daughter Katie
Ziolkowski, Deer Island, NB and Daughter-in-law Holly Tucker, Little
Ridge, NB. Grandchildren Ryan and Emma Foster, chosen grandchildren
Gabrielle & Isaac Richard, Aiden Tomah and Aubreanne Goodine.
Brother Burrel & Kim of Bocabec, NB, and sister- in- law
Dorothy, Toronto, Ont. Nieces & nephews, Luke (Tina) and
Jenny, Lyla and Robbie. The Greenlaw brother’s and
sister’s-in-laws. Aunts, uncles, great nieces, nephews and
cousins. All of whom Evelyn adored.
Predeceased by her Father Robert (Bob) Hatt, brother Robert
(Robbie) Hatt and her Life Partner Joel Greenlaw
A celebration of life will be held at the Pomeroy Ridge
Cemetery, Pomeroy Ridge, N.B. on Sunday, July 17, 2022 at 2
PM.
